Our aim is to avoid our (Hungarian) school system – which is selective and discriminative for certain strata – to be the result of a contra-selection where certain social strata, groups inevitably are put at a disadvantage and are marooned. We believe that the learning problems and compensation of leg of disadvantaged pupils can be treated by changing and reformatting of the whole education aspect. That is why we want to spread our teaching methods which are appropriate for children of all social groups.
Our school and classroom reforms are for (1) pupils who are below average, for (2) second-par pupils and for (3) pupils who are better than average. We use methods which ensure to line up who are behind, through varied tasks and it gives success for every pupil and makes them thinking creatively. Our programs create the possibilities of cognitive, meta-cognitive, socio-emotional learning and development.
We organise the activities around three programs, which help, influence and assist each other and suppose heterogeneous pupil group.
Complex Instruction Program which is based on group work.
Logic Table-game Program which develops strategic thinking.
Dialogue Between Generations Program which is based on cooperation of pupils and parents, grandparents.
We want the thinking of our pupils to be
- bright and bold but deliberate
- according to the available time period
- clear out and accurate
- organized and integrated.
The aim of our work is to moderate the differences among pupils and to help every pupil to reach the highest level of his capability, motivation an aims. The school supposes differentiated development of performance, the respect of variant style and speed of learning, the development of colourful social contacts and enhancement of tolerance.
The result of our programmes
- the appliance of varied, colourful curriculum which is forced by different abilities, helps to create the cognitive and meta-cognitive abilities,
- as the result of the bilateral dependence of each other creates a harmonized cooperation
- in the heterogeneous classroom during group work, pupils learn the cooperative norms; this “secondary product” of collaboration and positive team spirit is capitalized by the teachers to teach the behaviour rules for children

The school, beside preparation for special subjects and intellectual abilities, pays attention on personality development, creating different behaviours and self-esteem.
Developing skills establishes the setting of habits.
The greatest success of our programs is to be adapted for teamwork. In the centre of teamwork there are the skill of communication, analytical skill and the developing of thinking.
The Programmes are based on the cooperation of school leadership-teachers, teachers-teachers, teachers-pupils, teachers-parents, teachers-parents-pupils, pupils-parents.
The Programmes – to achieve a result on an institutional level – suppose a high level of teacher qualification and competences.
According to the result of our measurements we can see strong coherence between activity of the leadership and the teachers the activity and qualification of teachers and successful learning of pupils.
- Classroom activities of teachers: The main goal of our programmes is to develop the teachers’ professional skills and competences during the organizing the group-work. Teachers have to learn their roles in the classroom.
